Journal #18

  • Apr 12, 2018
  • 1 min read

There are 10 basic principles of good design; CONTRAST, EMPHASIS, PROXIMITY/ ALIGNMENT, BALANCE, HIERARCHY, SCALE, HARMONY/UNITY, PATTERN, REPETITION, & RHYTHM/MOVEMENT. For this week’s journal #18, google examples of RHYTHM/MOVEMENT as a principle of design, and upload a picture of an example of RHYTHM/MOVEMENT to your Journal #18 describing how it is used as a principle of good design.

Rhythm/movement is used as a principal of a good design because it will help guide the viewer to the focal point.
