There are 10 basic principles of good design; CONTRAST, EMPHASIS, PROXIMITY/ ALIGNMENT, BALANCE, HIERARCHY, SCALE, HARMONY/UNITY, PATTERN, REPETITION, & RHYTHM/MOVEMENT. For this week’s journal #15, google examples of HARMONY/UNITY as a principle of design, and upload a picture of an example of HARMONY/UNITY to your Journal #15 describing how it is used as a principle of good design.

Harmony is such a great principal of design in my opinion. Harmony holds the whole design together. Harmony is the feeling that everything in the design goes together. Harmony gives you a feeling to completeness.
